Nevada Physical Therapy
Rehab Services: Serving Patients Since 1991
With small beginnings, this private owned company established its first clinic in Winnemucca, Nevada in 1991. Growing in number and experienced staff members, since then Rehab Services has grown to seven total locations throughout the state of Nevada, as well as one in Idaho. Providing clinical care for those suffering from illnesses and injuries, a variety of therapy options are available.
With the goal of getting you back to the quality of living that you deserve, our clinicians are dedicated to helping you regain your independence no matter what life has thrown at you. Compassionate and understanding, our physical therapists in Nevada can work with you as you recuperate from sports injuries, work-related accidents, major surgeries and other events that may require lifestyle adjustments. We offer three main disciplines of therapy, designed to assist you and your loved ones.
Designed to help promote the restoration of functional mobility, physical therapy is a health care option that has proven highly beneficial for many individuals. Through careful examinations, investigations into the injury itself, detailed diagnosis and methodical physical exercises, the goal is to get the patient to return to their former quality of life. This can be dependent upon the severity of the injury, the age of the individual and the level of physical therapy performed. Working to create an individualized plan for each, our Nevada physical therapists offer exercises that emphasize strength, range of motion, wound care, balance retraining, injury prevention and prosthetic training.
Harnessing treatments to equip patients in regaining skills necessary for daily activities, occupational therapy is key for those struggling with developmental, physical or mental conditions. Focused entirely on the client the therapist will look at the actions most valued by the patient, evaluate the issue, and work to come up with solutions. By adapting the patient's environments, educating them and their family, altering the task to fit their unique circumstance and using various training exercises, the hope is that they will be able to perform tasks necessary for daily living. Utilizing motor skill and cognitive retraining, sensory integration, hand therapy and other treatments, the Nevada occupational therapists at our office are prepared to help you or your loved ones.
Commonly known as speech therapy, the primary focus is to assist those struggling with conditions related to the speaking, language and all the varying components involved. Working either to correct or reorient people with how to use their throat, swallow and cognitively process auditory messages, speech therapy is vital for those dealing with hearing impairments, traumatic brain injuries, autism, vocal nodules, and other disorders. At Rehab Services, we provide one-on-one attention for patients of all ages; practicing audio-visual drills, functional communication, and voice strengthening exercises.
