Our University Afffiliates
Rehab Services offers a comprehensive program for Clinical Education. We offer both urban and rural clinical experience which includes a combination of therapy environments. Many of our physical therapists have doctoral degrees and many of our therapists have or are in the process of taking Clinical Instructor training to enhance their mentoring skills.
We offer clinical rotations for student physical therapists, student physical therapy assistants, student occupational therapists, and student occupational therapy assistants, in a variety of specialty areas such as:
- Acute Care Hospital Setting
- Wound Care
- Orthopedic Outpatient Care
- Long -Term Care
- Cardiac Rehabilitation
- Therapeutic Riding/Hippotherapy
- Home Health Services
- Work Hardening and Conditioning
- Pre-Employment Screening
- Injury Prevention and Safety Programs
- Functional Capacity Evaluation
Each of our clinics has areas of specialization.
Elko, Nevada
Our Elko facilities provide students with specialized training in wound care with an emphasis on burns and open wounds. Students are able to participate in an acute hospital rotation, and outpatient and home health.
Fallon, Nevada
Our Fallon facility provides opportunities in outpatient orthopedic, neurological, pediatrics, lymphedema, school therapy services and cardiac rehabilitation. Students also may train in providing nursing home, assisted living, and general rehabilitation in an acute setting.
Las Vegas, Nevada
Our Las Vegas facility provides students with specialized training in orthopedic outpatient care with an emphasis on hand therapy. Students will also receive experience in home health.
Winnemucca, Nevada
Our Winnemucca facility provides students with specialized training in cardiac rehabilitation, orthopedic outpatient care, public school therapy services, and home health services.
Rexburg, Idaho
Our Rexburg facility provides students with specialized training in orthopedic outpatient care, public school therapy services, home health services and long term care. Students also may train in Rexburg’s combined adult and pediatric clinic.
Rehab Services offer students training in a contemporary atmosphere with multiple therapists. We offer training for physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Our family-like atmosphere is highly collaborative with therapists, employees, and students working together to help patients return to the quality of life they enjoyed before their injury or illness.
